• Seminars and Workshops
  • Must further GOP philosophy, political views, and platform
• TFRW Meetings and Conventions
• Legislative Day
• State Republican Conventions and National Conventions
• Board and Committee Meetings
• Regular Club Meetings – Before & After
  • Travel time to and from meetings counts
  • BUT, time spent in attendance at a regular club meeting does NOT count
  • Time spent working before or after the regular meeting counts

Work that Counts Toward your Volunteer Hours

• Clubs, Headquarters, and Campaigns
  • Work from home or elsewhere that supports a GOP club, headquarters, or campaign (including
    nonpartisan offices such as school board or city council). Includes mailings, phone calls,
    computer activities, clerical tasks, and work involving signs and literature.
• GOP Events and Conventions
• Other Events Supporting GOP Philosophy and Policies
  • Intent of events must be to elect GOP candidates and further the GOP platform.
• Presentation of Political Programs and Speeches at GOP and Civic Clubs
• Voter Registration
• Get Out the Vote (GOTV)
• Fundraising Events
  • Includes food preparation, work on donated items, decorating, and cleanup.
• Work Performed By
  • Candidates for Public Office
  • Officers of Republican Women Clubs
  • Election Officials and Delegates — including precinct chairs, state and county party
    officials, precinct convention participants, county convention delegates, state convention
    delegates, and national convention delegates.
