Chris Russo is the founder and President of Texans for Strong Borders. He founded Strong Borders in 2022 after observing a lack of organized engagement to respond to the challenges faced by the State of Texas due to the Biden Administration’s border invasion.
Chris worked for six years as a flight controller for the International Space Station at NASA Johnson Space Center before leaving in October 2022 to focus full-time on the fight to secure the Texas Border and put Americans first.
He is also an avid grassroots activist and has participated in several campaigns around the state. Chris attended Texas A&M University, where he earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering.
