GCRW welcomes Nathan Shackelford with First Liberty Institute.  First Liberty is a nonprofit Christian conservative legal organization based in Plano, Texas which litigates in First Amendment cases on religion and is on the forefront of many legal battles for religious and first amendment freedoms.

Nathan Shackelford is a development officer at First Liberty Institute and the oldest son of its founder, CEO, and President, Kelly Shackelford. Nathan obtained his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Texas A&M and his J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law.

He has been married to his wife, Sarah, for nearly six years. They just bought their first home in McKinney, TX, and are expecting their first child to be born this summer in July.
