Hear the story of an illiterate orphan boy who traveled with his uncle’s trading wagon, absorbing the beliefs of pagans, Christians, and Jews he encountered. As he grew into adulthood, he began preaching a message that would become Islam and profoundly change the course of history. Our speaker will trace the evolution of that message, the development of Islamic jurisprudence and sharia law, and the principle of da’wah—the Islamic call to spread the faith. Most importantly, we’ll explore what these beliefs could mean for America in the decades ahead—and what Christians and conservatives can do today to understand the challenge and respond thoughtfully.
